Dear Friends of Eaton’s Neck,
The snowmen have melted to reveal a sprinkling of new life breaking through the earth. The ground beneath us unfreezes and the sun makes a daily appearance remind ing us we can all start to get rid of the winter layers. It’s Springtime on Eaton’s Neck and with the new season we find ourselves excited to build community, share laughs and create amazing memories.
Spring is when we, your POENB Board, focus on membership. Over the last uncer tain year, we hope you’ve appreciated your unique community more than ever. POENB dues are used to maintain our beaches, create exciting events and fund critical infrastructure projects like rebuilding the Valley Grove Bulkhead to protect the place we ALL call home. Most should already have received an email link to join or renew. If not, you can find the membership form inside this issue or you to go to the newly, beautifully rede signed eatonsneck.org to join online using PayPal. Early bird discounts end on March 31st. On the form you’ll also find ways to add your talents to the community through small acts of volunteerism. Every bit helps and we appreciate your filling it out. Board members, in addition to their official duties, have been helming many side initiatives that would benefit it from an infusion of fresh energy and ideas. We also want to encourage kids to give back and would be grateful for a few parents willing to step up and serve as community service coordinators for kids. If interested, email info@eatonsneck.org and we can talk about setting up a program.
Like your POENB Board, which is made up of all volunteers, it takes a village! Our village only gets better with every new member. Please join and be part of it.
